Max Peiffer Watenphul (1896 - 1976) was active/lived in Germany.  Max Watenphul is known for Still life paintings.

The artist's name is Peiffer-Watenphul. He created a still life painting between 1927 and 1931 while teaching at the Folkwang School in Essen. He had several stays in Berlin and trips to Paris where he met other artists, including Florence Henri. The painting was in the collection of Florence Henri and is evidence of Peiffer-Watenphul's lively exchange with fellow artists. The painting features cheerful, lively nuances of red, blue, and green and impasto white spots of light on a finely differentiated light background
